It is high time we talked about SingleThread Restaurant & Inn. This charming bed and breakfast is located in Healdsburg, CA and is serving up unique dishes in their 3 Michelin-Star restaurant.
SingleThread Restaurant & Inn Guest Room
Upon check-in to one of the five rooms available at SingleThread Inn, we were delighted by the various treats prepared for us. We would have ordered more onigiri if we were given a chance! The kitchenette was also fully stocked with tea, coffee, and snacks.
The room has a clean modern aesthetic. The bathroom included a walk-in shower as well as a soaking tub big enough for two. They seemed to have put a lot of thought into the basket of complimentary toiletries as well.
Dinner at SingleThread Restaurant
Here we are standing at the window to SingleThread Restaurant's open concept kitchen. This window is what you first lay eyes on when you walk through the front door and into their small lobby. While waiting to be seated, it is the best vantage point for a sneak peek at what's for dinner.
It is such a treat to watch the inner workings of a restaurant at this level -- from the meticulous placement of ingredients to the intense gaze and focus on their task.
As the hostess led us to our table, our eyes lit up at the tower of bites waiting for our arrival. Each morsel differed in texture and flavor, with some dishes having ingredients that we had never heard of, or just a new way of preparing those ingredients.
I was excited to see that they offered a non-alcoholic beverage pairing and it did not disappoint. The drinks were well curated and had some very interesting combinations. Each drink harmonized well with the dishes and were delicious on their own.
En-Suite Breakfast at SingleThread Inn
A full breakfast spread is included with your stay at SingleThread Restaurant & Inn. You can choose from a few options, but we opted for the Japanese style breakfast. It is the perfect start to the day with a variety of healthy proteins and veggies.
Final Thoughts
Overall, we had a great experience staying and dining at SingleThread Restaurant & Inn. Our only regret is that we did not get to try the in-room hot pot dining experience since we only stayed one night. I would have liked to try some of the other breakfast options as well.
